HOSOKAWA ALPINE ADDS A ROBUST UNIVERSAL SHREDDER TO ITS PRODUCT RANGE
|
|
The Alpine Dura Line shredder is a robust single-shaft shredder that is universal in use for plastics, fibres and recycling applications , able to comminute even the most difficult materials reliably and without problem. It is characterised by a heavy-duty torsion-free support construction and a modular design that is available with different qualities and numbers of knives. Dependent on the problem specification, patented cutters – also made of tungsten carbide – with a variety of different profiles are available which can be inserted with ease and no risk of distortion. Special perforated screens permit precise determination of the product.
The heart of the Dura Line shredder is the patented multi-edge cutting shaft which is a monobloc construction with diameters between 400 and 800 mm and lengths of 1000 to 2000 mm. The knife seats are milled into the shaft, thus providing the cutters with an exceedingly high impact strength. What sets this new cutting system apart from others is the minimum cutting clearance. Materials such as plastic film or fibres are stripped off reliably as a result of the positive engagement of the knife blades with respect to the knives on the opposite side. This prevents these materials from winding around the shaft.
The Dura Line shredder is extremely flexible. A menu-guided control system makes it possible to program variable settings for values such as cutting power and cutting pressure, cutting frequency and shaft speed. The Dura Line is available in sizes between 45 and 250 kW. The blockage and reversing values can be individually preset to match every material being shredded. In the same way, the feed and return speed of the feeding system drawer are just as adjustable as is the discharge rate to suit any downstream units.
The recipe management feature permits archiving the process parameters for the different materials as a function of their specific properties.
Upon request, the Dura Line shredder is also available with a hydraulic drive which ensures extremely smooth operation, even when faced with extreme loads. The speed is steplessly adjustable and permits optimum adaptation to every shredding task. |

During the ACHEMA from 11 to 15 May 2009 in Frankfurt we showed process technologies that start with research and development with product quantities of < 1 gramme and end with large-scale production of several tons per hour
We showed the following machines:
An LGM 20 long-gap mill
At 2 m in diameter, this is the largest long-gap mill that Hosokawa Alpine has built up to now. Grinding, drying and coating in only one process step!
The new picoline mini-machine series for R&D für R&D
with 9 machine types:
Fluidised bed opposed jet mill
Spiral jet mill
Impact mill
High-speed impact mill
Wet agitated ball mill
Mechanofusion
Mixer
Classifier
Classifier mill
A Mikro ACM 40 SD "SingleDrive" classifier mill
Our newest energy-saving drive concept in times of rising energy costs:
Reduced power consumption
Low space requirement
Full range of different application possibilities
A tandem 200 TTSP classifier
to classify fine material into 3 fractions (powder, dust, coarse) in one single machine
A "limited edition" of the Alpine 200 LS-N air jet sieve
A Nobilta NOB-300
The powder processor for precision mixing and for generating composite materials from ultrafine particles
