Optimally
equipped test laboratories in Augsburg / Germany, Natick / USA
and Hirakata / Japan are available to customers from the film
industry for practice oriented testing. These laboratories are
also used intensively for the internal testing and ongoing development
of ALPINE's equipment.
Hosokawa Alpine’s test laboratory was erected in 1986 and extended after some years by an annex building of a height of 23 m to operate lay flat widths of up to 3500 mm. The area of 1000 m” is used to test the newest Hosokawa Alpine blown film and orientation lines with all components, for customer tests and for our own research and development.
The test laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art testing devices. Approx. 100 test runs are made per year. Every third year the period between two plastic trade fairs in Düsseldorf is used to organize an international in-house trade fair in the test laboratory in Augsburg.
The team of Hosokawa Alpine’s test laboratory in Augsburg consists of 10 engineers, technicians and skilled workers, who use their extensive know-how to strongly assist the customers in their test runs in the test laboratory. |
